Hotel Garibaldi

Linda made our meal such a great experience with her kindness and generosity. The restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced. Our newly built room had a small window, but the view of the greenery, city, and mountains below was beautiful. We were so pleasantly surprised by this lovely little hotel. Andrew at the concierge desk and Samantha, one of the servers, were great too.

The main problem was the internet. They say they have it, but there was virtually no connection, and I had to use my phone hotspot for a critical call. The staff were nice enough, but there wasn't anything they could do. The price was reasonable for what you get. The room was large and fairly clean, the bed was perfect for me because I like a firm one, and the balcony was beautiful, though someone had left an unemptied ashtray there. The soap was tiny, enough for one good shower.

I spent a week here on a business trip, with the arrangements made by the site. The private balcony overlooking the valley was an oasis after full days of meetings, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant was very nice, with fresh pastries, cured meats, HB Eggs, and great cappuccino. The restaurant itself is truly excellent, and the enclosed balcony has really nice views. It was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I'd definitely return on my next trip.

Please check your credit card statements carefully when you book here. I stayed for work because we have a nearby site, and they charged my card twice. I only reached out after trying to submit my expense reports. I asked for my corporate credit card information and followed up by email four times over two months, but customer service still hasn't replied. I'm disappointed they weren't helpful. I couldn't submit my expense reports on time, which led to late fees, and I had to pay the second charge out of pocket.
