The pool was fantastic, and the welcome made a lasting impression. We arrived to authentic Italian snacks and a bottle of wine, and there was a small bag of garden fruit by the window each day. The cottage is small but spotless, and the kitchen has everything you need by Italian standards. I’d packed extra kitchen bits just in case, but didn’t use them. His wife will cook for a small fee and serve dinner on your own terrace. It was delicious. When we left, we were given another bottle of wine. I won’t forget that hospitality.

The service and food were good, and the bed was comfortable. The bedroom and the rest of the room weren’t great, though; for one night it didn’t matter much. Getting there may not suit everyone: the road begins with ordinary asphalt, then gets very rough and bumpy, with some seriously sharp hairpin turns.

The bungalow and pool were both lovely and clean. The people are so welcoming and always ready to help. A great choice if you want to experience the real Tuscany.

We spent four days in this beautiful, completely peaceful place, and it was lovely to take a break somewhere so relaxing. Antonio welcomed us with a nice aperitif and was a very good person. Thanks again for the warm welcome. I’d recommend a bit of downtime here to everyone.

Very peaceful, though a little out of the way.
