Santa Magdalena feels like paradise. The animals are a big plus, and the amenities are decent for the price. I'd recommend this cozy mountain house if you're after somewhere to unwind.

The room was clean, and there's a kitchen where you can make your own breakfast or dinner. The pension is near the church, and the owners are very kind.

The room was clean and tidy, and parking is free near the barn, where there are cows, a peacock and a cat. It's less than 30 minutes from the sunset site. But there was no service or information, and we couldn't check in early or leave our luggage. The owner seemed busy all the time. You don't need to stay in Funes, in my view, since the two church sites can each be visited in 1-2 hours. There's no elevator. You open the door with keys and leave them inside when you check out.

It was 15C inside, so the hosts really need to put more effort into making guests comfortable. Be warned.

This was a horrible experience. The owner was very rude when we arrived 30 minutes before check-in and needed to use the bathroom. She wouldn't let us. Our room had mold and a window directly onto the animal stable, making the air unbearable to breathe. None of these problems were visible on the booking.
