The children’s favorite part was spending time in the stable with the cows and Paul. Even in bad weather there was plenty to do, and the forest playground is a dream for kids. We also made great use of the sauna, which was free, and the yoga and fitness options were handy for staying active. This was our second stay at the Oberposkoihof with the Pernthaler family, this time with our children, aged 11 and 13. Anna and Paul's hospitality was outstanding. Our "Panoramablick" apartment was very spacious and spotlessly clean, with breathtaking mountain views, a lovely place to relax in nature. Every morning, fresh milk, eggs, and crispy rolls were delivered to our door, a wonderful start to the day. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Many thanks to Anna and Paul for a perfect place to stay and a thoroughly successful holiday. We wholeheartedly recommend the Oberposkoihof. 5 out of 5 stars.

The accommodation was clean, quiet, and satisfactory, and we appreciated the milk left for us on arrival. We only stayed in the smallest apartment, Kirchlein, so I can’t comment on the larger ones. It was as expected, though being on the ground floor with no window screens meant we couldn’t leave the windows open for fresh air because of all the summer insects. The double mattress sagged and needs replacing. The kitchen had very little equipment, and with a gas stove a long lighter would be safer than using Bic lighters and risking a burn. When we reported that the small burner, the most useful one for breakfast, wasn’t working, Mrs. Anna asked if we really needed all four burners instead of thanking us and fixing it. We made do by using the small coffee maker on the large burners. The shower floor could use non-slip stickers. As an elderly person, I had to be careful not to fall. There was no bidet in the bathroom. We’re sorry we didn’t get to know the hosts better and didn’t see anyone when we left. I hope these comments help future guests, and wish them all the best.

It’s wonderfully peaceful here, unless a thunderstorm or severe weather rolls in. Then there’s crashing and clattering, and the bells from St. Jakob's church tower can keep you awake. You might even find that romantic. 🤗

Right in the heart of the Funes Valley, with a wonderful view of the Odle Mountains from the apartment. The natural products and friendly service make it a fantastic place. Don’t miss it.
