We were here in a pinch while the car was being repaired. We ordered pizza as room service, but after staff said they’d bring it up, we had to go down and get it ourselves. They also got the order wrong, probably because we didn’t speak Italian or German. There was a lovely, very kind man at reception, though.

We were so glad we stayed an extra night. Helena made us feel at home and gave us all the information we needed. She also provided a bus pass for our whole stay, which saved us time and money compared with paying for each ride. There was plenty to do nearby, and walking to Sta Magdalena was easy to figure out. You can rent a bike or take a bus to another ski resort too. After visiting cities across the EU, we were really happy to spend our last few days here. It was the best place we stayed on our Europe trip. For hiking, I’d download bergfex touren. It works well around dolomites and has biking, walking, and hiking trails. I’d highly recommend the town. If you like somewhere small and quiet, I’d choose this place over Cortina.

We had a good free breakfast and paid dinner, and the hosts were very kind and helpful. Our deluxe room was spacious and clean, with a mountain view from the balcony. The location in Teis/Tiso worked well, and having an underground garage was nice in winter.
