Residence Toglhof is a beautiful apartment building in the middle of the dolomites. The apartments are bright with natural light and kept clean. St. Peter is a refreshing little town, an alpine gem that doesn’t feel overcrowded. The family Profanter, who own and run the residence, were especially memorable. They were kind, gracious, and incredibly helpful, and really set the bar for being wonderful people.

There’s a lift in the property, which was a welcome surprise, and breakfast is available if you book ahead. The town centre is neat and has frequent bus service. It’s a lovely property in a stunning setting, with beautiful views and crisp mountain air.

The rooms have been recently renovated, and the location is great for hiking around the area. It’s about a five-minute walk from the village, but sits higher up on the hill, so it gets sun and has a nice mountain view.
