Il Mulino

We had a really nice stay in a clean room with a sea-facing window. There’s a bus stop close by, plus a supermarket that’s open on Sundays, a nearby bar, and the restaurant or Curniciell just a few steps away. I’d leave the car parked and rent a scooter.

The view and the owner's helpfulness were what my husband and I enjoyed most when we stayed in 2019. We also appreciated the free shuttle to visit nearby sights. My room had just one electrical outlet, on one side of the bed, which was a little inconvenient, and the bathroom corners were rather dark. Breakfast was very basic, though this is a B&B with an excellent host. I recommend staying here.

The host was really helpful, and the shared terrace had tables and chairs with a spectacular view. There’s no breakfast, but the room was cleaned and the bed made each day. The rooms are spacious and clean, with mosquito screens on every window and air conditioning in each room. The place sits above Furore and the Emerald Grotto, higher up the hill. We chose it as a good base for travelling by scooter: Amalfi was 20 minutes away, the Furore Fjord 15, and Positano about 40. The kitchen isn’t included, but there’s a fridge and TV, as well as a shared chest freezer.

We were welcomed warmly by the owner and had free parking for our car. The room was cleaned and tidied every day, and we found everything comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and we made use of the small fridge with its freezer compartment. There’s a beautiful sea view from the room. A supermarket with everything we needed and the bus stop are only a few metres away. We left very happy with our stay.
