Agriturismo S. Alfonso

The staff were outstanding, and they even showed our group how to make ravioli and tiramisu. I visited while travelling around Italy in 2022 and loved how beautiful the place was and how good the food was. I hope I get back one day.

Those views were the best I’ve ever seen, and they made every one of the 120 steps up to reception feel worthwhile. The staff welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, well designed and had excellent amenities. We had an unforgettable stay at Agriturismo Sant'Alfonso. Everything was lovely from beginning to end, a real gem on the Amalfi Coast.

We used the farmhouse as our base for walks and other activities along the coast, and the staff worked around our group’s different meal times. They also put together a packed lunch for our longer hike. It was a lovely family-run farm stay, clean and comfortable, with a peaceful setting that still felt close to everything. We were there with a small tour group and all enjoyed it. The food was delicious, they handled my gluten-free needs well, and you can try their own wine with dinner. There’s a full bar too. For luggage, they have a goods lift, but people need to use the 120 steps. The setting and views are gorgeous, and nights were so quiet. A great base for the Path of the Gods. I already miss it!

Getting to towns and attractions takes some planning, since the place is quite remote. You’ll need a private transfer, car, Vespa or public transport. I’d happily stay again, though probably just for a few days as part of a longer Amalfi trip. The beauty of the Agriturismo and the kindness of the owners and staff are hard to put into words. You can add meals, and I really recommend doing that. The farm-to-table food is incredible and not to be missed. Grazie!
