Hotel Capo Est

We had such a happy stay at Capo Est Hotel and would come back. What made a real difference for us was how much they do for kids. Our son looked forward to the baby dance after dinner, and there were lots of activities, plus an afternoon snack with the lovely animator Stefania. The pool is spacious and clean. There’s also a private sunbathing area with umbrellas, handy after walking down to the public beach, and you can get down by lift or stairs. Our room was clean and nice, though sometimes it seemed to be done in a bit of a rush. The sea facing rooms have a magical view. The hotel is surrounded by nature and the clear blue sea, so there’s plenty of fresh air. Food was delicious, and dinner came out promptly without long waits between courses. Breakfast is self service. The staff were helpful, from the friendly woman at the bar, where prices were affordable, to the gentleman at reception who gave us directions and help. We’re very happy with our stay. ✅

The location is the standout, and the pool is pretty good. Parking is free, and the staff are friendly. But the rooms feel dated, the Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room, and breakfast was poor. The hotel in general gets two stars from me, and breakfast gets two, though the location gets five. I don’t think it deserves a four star rating.

The beach, pool, and park gave us plenty of space, with shaded parking too. The room, food, service, and location were all perfect, and everyone was kind.
