We felt uneasy about our belongings for the whole stay after being handed keys to a room that already had guests in it. That was an unacceptable, unprofessional mistake, and it left us questioning how rooms are managed and who can access them. The parking claim was misleading too. What they call included parking is a public city lot. The actual private hotel parking costs an extra 8 euros, and looked like it belonged to someone personally connected to the staff. It felt like a typical scam. Breakfast was mostly sweets, with no hot or savory choices, and Italian guests seemed to get much better treatment than international ones. The restaurant also adds a €6 service charge per person without telling you in advance. The view was beautiful, the location near the highway was convenient, and the restaurant food was good. Those positives weren’t enough to make up for the poor experience. We won’t return to Hotel and Restaurant Everest.

The hosts were welcoming and ready to help, even though our Italian isn’t very good. They suggested some excellent beaches, the same ones we’d found in our own research, and even lent us a beach umbrella. The less accessible beaches are well worth the descent: there are fewer people and the water is prettier. Bring food for the day and it’s perfect. The hotel is on a hill by a lively little square with a good restaurant. Our room was clean and had both AC and a ceiling fan. Breakfast was tasty, and we were offered a free parking spot a short walk away when we arrived by car. I’d recommend staying here.

We just came in for breakfast, without staying at the B&B. The coffee and cappuccino were very good, and came with a little homemade crostata on the house. Service was impeccable, and prices were modest for the area.
