I've stayed here before and recognized several staff from last year. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and the facilities were clean and updated. It's perfectly located near Serapo Beach and downtown. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Gaeta!

The outdoor pool is empty for most of the year, and the small indoor one is closed on Mondays. There's only a tiny bar, with no gin, and you have to rent beach towels. The rooms are small, with hard beds and no view, and the hotel isn't on the beachfront.

We found Mirasole Gaeta on Google Maps while driving down the coast after landing in Rome in March. We'd assumed we'd easily find a room in the off-season, but a lot of hotels were closed. After calling, we had a room here, and our mood went from panic to Nirvana in a 22 minutes drive time. The staff were so pleasant, the room had a beautiful view, and the beach was just steps away. Breakfast was amazing, as it often is at Italian hotels, though that doesn't make it any less wonderful. We walked a few blocks down the beach, then headed up into town for some Tiella at the local pizza place. Thank you to the staff of Mirasole Gaeta for making our stay in Gaeta so enjoyable. The hotel restaurant was amazing, both the food and the service. The setting is gorgeous, and the staff were really helpful. One thing to know: most local dinner spots are closed in the off-season, even if Google Maps says they're open. According to staff, they tend to be open on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
