Villa Paradiso

Villa Paradiso's location is a real plus: it's roughly midway between Gaeta and Sperlonga, and makes it easy to get to some of the nicest beaches. One is close enough to reach on foot without a car. We spent 10 days there enjoying the gorgeous sea views and sunsets. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. We'll definitely return!

The rooms at Villa Paradiso were cute and cool, and the views were breathtaking. I spent three nights there and had a wonderful time. It's a peaceful spot for anyone who wants quiet and nature. The owners are lovely and attentive, and made us feel at home. I'll be back 😌

The hilltop setting is lovely, especially in the evening when you can hear nature and watch the sunset, and parking is excellent. Our apartment was cute, reasonably equipped, and generally fine, so I'd give the stay three stars. But after staying there, it felt like we'd paid too much: almost €1,000 for three days in a 50-square-meter apartment for five people in early July. The website photos don't show the place clearly, and some are wrong. The owner apologized and said the websites had mixed up the layout. The road up to the villa is so narrow you'd need a sports license. The shower curtains were a disaster, every shower flooded the place and we had to mop up with a rag. The kitchen utensils were jumbled together, and some weren't properly clean. There's just one bin, with no recycling bins. The TV doesn't work perfectly, and the house clock is broken. Air conditioning is only in one room; another has a small dehumidifier, while the kitchen and living room have nothing. The air conditioner drains into a bucket, and once it's full, water gets all over the room's floor. The welcome was more than adequate, though we got very little advice about getting around Gaeta. There's potential, but a lot needs work to justify such a high price.

For now, we found it a good base for a short vacation. The place is well situated and has real potential, though there are several things that could be improved. Victor and his mother were extremely kind, courteous, and helpful.
