The food was a highlight for us: proper Italian cooking with herbs and vegetables from the garden, plus wine suggestions from the hosts that went beautifully with the meals. We spent a week at Bonello and loved the peaceful setting. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and we slept well every night. Rachele was warm and kind, and a gifted cook. We had a wonderful holiday and hope to return when we can.

The Po River is right behind the property, and the in-ground pool and event spaces were lovely. Rachele and her team did a terrific job with the food and the way the place is presented. Our stay at bonello luxury retreats surpassed what we expected. If you're thinking of going, take this as your nudge to book.

We stayed for five lovely nights. Rachele made us feel very welcome, and we really enjoyed her cooking. Such a nice spot to slow down and eat well.

Our dogs were welcomed with smiles, which made the stay even better. The room was lovely, with a jacuzzi and clever design, and both breakfast and the restaurant were excellent. The staff and owner were so nice. Fantastic all around. FAVOURITE! We'll be back.

It feels like being at home, only with better food, drinks, and a place to stay. Rachele and Bogi deserve all the praise. Our suite was a lovely little getaway, breakfast was different each morning, and the meals were fresh, mostly home-grown, and reasonably priced. It's somewhat out of the way, which made it even easier to relax. Nothing to complain about, book your relaxing stay NOW ;-)!
