It’s still a beautiful place to visit for the scenery and the picturesque village around it. The castle stopped being a hotel after the lady of the castle died some years ago.

This little medieval village has a lot of character and is interesting historically. There aren’t any commercial businesses there.

The Chianti hills stretch out below this almost surreal village along the Eroica roads. It feels timeless and is well worth a visit!
