The complex itself is very nice, close to the town center, and the small condominium pool was never crowded. But Apartment 22 was shabby and had serious mold problems. The terrace was really a patio with only a narrow strip of light. The shower doors wouldn’t shut, there were very few dishes in the kitchen, and the sofa was dirty. The TV had just 4 channels because it was an old generation, and the DVD player didn’t work. The manager of that apartment should inspect it carefully and fix these things before renting it out. We only stayed because we arrived on the Saturday before August 15th, when finding another place nearby at a reasonable price would have been difficult. Too bad.

We stayed in apartment G11 in October 2019, booked through Interhome. Check-in was quick, with the keys handed over and payment collected, and the agency answered our questions promptly by SMS or email. The location and scenery were excellent, and the other residents were friendly. Inside, though, it was cold because the apartment was in a shady spot. They offered blankets and space heaters, but we’d already bought our own since it got very cold at night, with 10°C outside. There were still lots of mosquitoes. Soundproofing was poor, even with low occupancy: we could hear a neighbor snoring and getting ready in the morning, plus everyone walking past outside. There was dust under the beds and mattresses, so it’s not suitable for allergy sufferers, and there was black mold in the shower. The laundry room and gym worked fine. The appliances have Schuko plugs but the sockets are Italian, so we often had to unplug and reconnect things to use an adapter.

The very old buildings make this place worth a visit.
