The spa was a beautiful place to relax and recharge, with lovely saunas. We also really enjoyed the meals: breakfast was fresh, varied and delicious every morning, and dinner felt like restaurant-quality food. The hotel combines modern design with spotless rooms and a cozy, carefully considered feel. Most memorable were the staff. They were some of the kindest and most attentive people we’ve met, and their warmth and professionalism made us feel welcome right away. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

At first I worried that depending on the ski bus would be inconvenient, but after more than a week it had become an easy part of the routine. The well-organized ride takes about 20 to 25 minutes, and staying at such a lovely hotel was more than worth it. We spent our final night at a larger, pricier hotel closer to the slopes, and the difference made us appreciate this place even more. That hotel felt cold and corporate, and its restaurant, reception and employees lacked warmth and genuine care. Here, the family’s attention and love for the place were clear from the moment we arrived. We were there over Christmas and had a beautiful, modern, spotless room in the new building, a comfortable place to return to after a day out. Every meal was delicious, and the girls serving us were warm, kind, smiling and welcoming from day one. It was a dream winter holiday, and we loved every moment. We wish the family all the best and would return without hesitation.

The reception had hiking maps and printouts available, and there’s a bus stop right by the hotel for winter ski trips. We visited in summer and stayed for a week. The morning buffet had lots of variety, and we loved the dinners every day. The food was delicious, and the rooms were clean, especially the bathroom. A special thanks to the chef and team for changing one of the set five-course dinners. I mentioned my allergy to an ingredient in the morning and got a tasty alternative that evening. The staff were friendly, too.

This third-generation family hotel is a real gem, polished and well cared for. Monika and Martin oversee a very personal welcome, with professionalism that could put some high-end hotels to shame. The setting blends traditional character with modern comfort, without feeling stuffy or neglected. Dinner was a delicious five-course menu of regional food, prepared and presented with real skill. The surrounding region is beautiful, with excellent options for hiking and other Alpine adventures. Ask Monika for advice. We’re already looking forward to coming back.
