The only positive was that Mr. Antonio promptly refunded the money he'd received just 15 minutes earlier. I don't usually write reviews like this, but as I told the owner, this is no way to treat people. It's offensive, especially after coming all the way from Pavia. Keep your money; there are fantastic places to stay nearby with equally hospitable staff. We were invited to a wedding, so I trusted the newlyweds completely and respectfully. When we arrived, Mr. Antonio had no mask on and jokingly teased us for wearing one. Once inside, we realized the apartment was shared, but we stuck it out. After paying, we said goodbye to Antonio and started checking the place. There was hair on the beds, old sheets covered in lint, half-open water bottles from previous tenants, and used toilet paper. The bathroom, about 1.5x1.5 meters, was full of ants on the fixtures. The shower is outside the building, and reaching it means walking through the dining room, where you could run into other tenants. Hygiene was the main problem. Hair and ants covered the bathroom floor. When I brought this up, Mr. Antonio kept saying he had trouble seeing, so I wet a piece of toilet paper and wiped the floor. I'll leave what I found to your imagination.
