Masseria Fracchicchi

The rooms are roomy and full of character, and breakfast arrives fresh from the owner each morning. There are local pastries, fruit picked nearby, and other things to eat. The masseria is quiet and clean, surrounded by olive trees, yet the center of Galatina is just minutes away for shops, markets, and restaurants. It's also handy for visiting towns and beaches, with both sides of Puglia about 25 minutes away. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfasts were a real treat, with delicious local things and something different every day. Alberto was always around when we needed him, but never intrusive. We had a fantastic stay! The masseria feels like a peaceful little escape into nature, and everything was looked after and spotlessly clean. The shower deserves a special mention, it was amazing. Highly recommended! 😍🤩

Alberto, Azzurra, and Rachele made us feel so welcome, and we're very grateful to them for making the stay special. Breakfast was full of fresh local products, with lots of variety and a real taste of Salento. The location also made it easy to get out and see the region. We spent a memorable August stay at Masseria Fracchicchi, a lovely place surrounded by nature where everything felt peaceful and time seemed to slow down. Alberto was thoughtful and helpful, always greeting our requests with a smile.

Alberto pointed us toward some excellent places to eat, and mentioning his name there was a great introduction. The Masseria is also ideally placed: Galatina is close by, while Lecce, Gallipoli, Nardò, and Otranto are around half an hour away. We spent the final part of a wonderful two-week trip through Puglia, north to south, here in Salento in May 2024. The owner’s warm, familiar welcome, the peaceful setting, and the generous breakfasts all made for a restful stay. Our room was clean and spacious too. I'd absolutely recommend a stay with Alberto at Masseria Frachicchi, and would consider coming back. Michele and Mirella
