Galatone is a lovely, lively place to stay, well positioned for nearby beaches, Gallipoli, Lecce, and the Salento countryside. Villa Dagmar - Palazzo Bove 2 was a wonderful base, and I left already dreaming about returning. It's a unique, memorable escape in Puglia, and I'd highly recommend it. The villa combines historic character with modern comfort. The architecture has been beautifully restored, and the high-ceilinged interiors are spacious and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities you could need. There are peaceful outdoor spaces too, all making it easy to slow down and enjoy Salento. The hosts were warm and attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out.

We spent New Year's Eve in a fabulous villa in Galatone, in beautiful Puglia. It was finely furnished and had every comfort. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional.

The courtyard pond was our favorite part of coming back each evening. We spent unforgettable days at Villa Dagmar - Palazzo Bove 2, a charming, elegant place that blends history with modern comforts. The rooms were bright and spacious, which our children loved, and everything was spotless, carefully looked after, and tastefully decorated. The hosts were kind and always available. Galatone made a great base for exploring Salento, and we hope we can return soon.

Don't leave without trying the Pasticciotto at breakfast!!!!!! We spent a week in this lovely villa, with its blend of old-world character and modern comforts. The rooms were well cared for and finished with classy details. Pamela was friendly, discreet, and always ready to handle our requests or suggest a beach or somewhere to eat. Even for us Ligurians, her smile was a rarity! The breakfast staff and the woman who looks after cleaning were wonderful too. If you're passing through Galatone, I recommend staying here. RATING 10

The rooms were spacious, with adjustable air conditioning, and the sheets and towels were lovely and soft. We also had a pleasant terrace and absolute peace. After our full 14 days at Villa Dagmar, we were so fond of Pamela that I wished I could take her home as a lifelong friend. She made us feel at home with comfort and plenty of pampering, always welcoming, cheerful, and sweet. Lucia looked after breakfast and went out of her way with delicious pasticciotti and other treats. Mrs. Daniela was endlessly patient, asking each day how long we'd need the room free so she could clean. We were often late and felt bad, but she always smiled and told us not to worry. Everyone met us with kindness and smiles throughout our stay. Nearby there’s a pizzeria with excellent pizzas and pucce for all tastes, plus a pharmacy, bar, tobacconist, and restaurant. I recommend Villa Dagmar for the comforts and care. Thank you all, including the children! 🥰😘❣️
