The view from our room was lovely, with mountains in the distance, and the exterior roll-down curtains were much appreciated after more than 16 hours of travel because they kept the light out. We stayed two nights, and although the room and bathroom were small for two, both were impressively clean. The rest of the facility was clean as well, from the hallways and elevator to the breakfast area. Our bed was comfortable, and there were extra pillows in the wardrobe. The staff were friendly, polite, and gave great service. Breakfast was included and had plenty of variety, just right for us. The hotel is across from the train station, and although our room, number 403, faced it, we didn’t hear noise from below. It’s a short walk into the city center, where there are lots of places to eat. The price seemed reasonable with breakfast included. A great start to our three-week trip in Europe, and we’d stay here again if we come back.

My room was otherwise fine, and the daytime staff were friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. But I had no hot water on the morning I was leaving early. I ran the tap for quite a while, but the water stayed cold, so I couldn’t shower, and I reported it to reception right away. Later, I was told they had checked several times and found hot water, so they offered no compensation. I found that disappointing because a hot shower is a basic hotel facility. The way my complaint was handled left a negative mark on the stay.

The staff were amazing, especially Stephanie, if I’ve got her name and spelling right. I left my phone in a taxi by accident, and she managed to get it back for me. The hotel was very clean and tidy, in a great spot near the railway station and restaurants. Our room was a good size, though the bathroom was a little small. Breakfast had lots to choose from, including bacon and scrambled eggs. I’d certainly recommend it.

We got off the train in this city by accident, and the staff were really kind to us. They happily looked after our luggage for a couple of hours when we asked. I absolutely recommend them :))

The service was especially friendly, from check-in through the evening. The room was nice, the AC worked well, and the location was quite good, near both the train station and town centre. Breakfast came with the stay and was good. I’d definitely visit again!
