The pizza place they run next door is great, and the home stay itself is such a lovely spot. Amazing!

Really cozy, friendly, and the food is delicious. I recommend it!
The food was simple but thoughtfully made, with that home cooking flavor that reminds me of my grandmother. Prices are reasonable, and the staff were so warm and kind. It feels far from the usual places, with an old time atmosphere and the slower pace of rural life. What a lovely surprise. We’ll definitely come back, especially in summer.
The food and products are delicious, and the pizza is especially good. They also serve platters and specialty dishes. The staff are super friendly, and the place has a lot of charm. It’s a lovely escape from Florence’s intense summer heat, and in winter you can stay in the stable. Highly recommend.
The setting is nice, and I’ve stopped by twice in August after spotting it while driving, once for a drink and once to eat. But there’s a lot that could be improved. You have to reserve, which is understandable, yet the food options are very limited and some menu items weren’t available when I arrived at 8 pm, well before closing. Food and drink are pricey for a place where you set the table, serve yourself, and clear everything away. I couldn’t even get a stuffed schiacciatina because it wasn’t on the menu, although schiacciatina and its accompaniments are part of the platter. I booked for two adults and a small child and was told they’d have a high chair ready, but it had already been taken. Our tiny table wasn’t even suitable for two, and it was so dark that we had to eat using our phone lights. It could be a nice place, but in my opinion there are quite a few things to fix.
