We had a huge room with a spacious, very nice bathroom, an IKEA-equipped mini kitchen, plenty of toiletries and bedding, and hot water. It was hot during our July stay, and a cooling fan was provided. The elevator is manually controlled and only for luggage. For our one-night layover from Malpensa, a taxi cost €35 and took 15 minutes. The owner was very nice, and there’s also a private driver who can take you to the airport for €30. The high-tech door locks, CCTV cameras, and huge gate made us feel safe. The building is old and Italian, but beautiful. We had a peaceful dinner outside by the piazza, with a gelato place nearby where it cost €2,5. I’d highly recommend it for a layover or a quick romantic dinner by the piazza.

Franca was very supportive throughout our stay, and she had thoughtfully left some basic groceries for us. That was really useful after a 15-hour journey. We had a pleasant stay, with spacious rooms and all the facilities a family needs.

I stayed here for almost 3 months, and it worked well for a longer visit. The hotel is almost in the city centre, about three minutes from it, with lots of shops nearby. The owner was very helpful: whenever I asked for something or had a problem, he offered help and sorted it out.

There was no staff on the premises, and the portable heater in the room didn’t work. I booked this place to catch an early flight from Malpensa, but it was freezing outside and they turned off the heating all night. I called an operator and said I couldn’t sleep because the room was too cold. She told me they’d cancel and I wouldn’t be charged, but they still charged my credit card and I never got my money back. They don’t care about customers. Thieves. Please don’t waste your money here.

The pillows were comfy, but the bed was hard and the room was cold. There was no coffee or hair dryer in the room, and no check-in desk. The vending machine only takes local coins.
