Gallus

The pasta dishes looked beautiful, so I’ll have to come back and try them. We had a great time with the pizzas too, especially the fried linguacce, which were excellent. The place feels casual but still elegant, with designer decor and really good wine and food. It works just as well for dinner with friends. Service was attentive throughout.

The evening was lovely, though the prices felt a little high. The restaurant itself is welcoming and modern, with a neat interior and a great atmosphere. We started with some excellent appetizers, including shrimp carpaccio and a delicious egg with truffle. There were some unusual flavor pairings among the starters too. The pizza was a letdown for me after those, and I’d expected more, even though the special dough was a good idea. We’ll come back to try the restaurant. Service was decent, but it would help if the server knew what ingredients were in each dish.

The manager and staff were friendly, and I had an excellent pizza. I hope the place becomes properly accessible for people with disabilities soon. The current brushes are dangerous and need to be removed. I’m looking forward to coming back for more excellent dishes.

You can tell how much care goes into the cooking. The dishes are beautifully presented and have distinct flavors, and the spaghetti with mint and shrimp was excellent. The atmosphere feels both pleasant and elegant, and the staff are friendly. Definitely worth trying.
