Last year we stayed at Hotel Risberg in Gallipoli and were happy with everything. The food was amazing, our room was clean, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the beach was just a short walk away. We couldn’t get a room for our preferred dates this year, but we still like coming back to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious every time, with very reasonable prices. We also left our luggage there for the day despite not staying at the hotel this year, and the staff kindly stored it without any trouble. Truly excellent service. We’ll be back!

We couldn’t stay at the hotel this year because of scheduling conflicts, but the staff kindly let us leave our luggage there. They’ve always been friendly and helpful. We stayed five days last year and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is a pleasant, peaceful place with a nice choice of Italian specialties. I especially liked the Linguine Ai Gamberi. We’ll definitely return for dinner.

The apartment side of the hotel is a long walk away. Before arriving, we called to ask about checking in before 5:00 pm and were told the rooms would be ready earlier. We arrived at 2:30 thinking they were prepared, but they weren’t, and an earlier check-in wasn’t possible, so we went to the beach. When we got back at 7:00 pm, there were still no towels or bedding in the rooms. Very disappointing, not worth the money, and I won’t return.

The rooms were clean, and the restaurant service was exceptional. I’d recommend this hotel.

The organization was poor, the bed was broken, the bathrooms were clogged, and the staff were rude. Never again 😡
