Agriturismo San Vettore Denti Massimo

I've been coming here now and then since 2000, and I love the place. It's a quiet spot for relaxing, with bees humming in the morning and a view from the terrace across the valley and hills covered in vines and olive trees. The nearest restaurant or bar is some distance away, but we enjoy spending evenings cooking and reading with a bottle of lovely Chianti Classico.

We found the setting wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by Tuscan nature, and it was easy to get out for trips to Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, and the Chianti region. The property was well cared for, with generously sized, fully equipped annexes furnished in Tuscan style. The recently renovated ashlar roofs and exposed beams were beautiful, and the pool was spacious, comfortable, and had safety features. Our group of four stayed for four days. The hosts were exceptionally kind and ready to help with anything, with a level of care for their work I've rarely seen. The 3km dirt road was well maintained, and for me it added to the sense of getting away from everyday chaos. The price was reasonable too. We'll be back!

The owner is so kind and helpful, and the garden, pool, and barbecue area make for lovely evenings. There's a vegetable garden for guests, loungers, and a barbecue gazebo, plus a volleyball court, bocce court, ping pong table, board games, and a gym with all you need to stay busy. The well-maintained brick houses each have a barbecue, with wood provided by the agriturismo. Rooms are clean, and some have spacious bathrooms. Ours had a porch with grapes, which were delicious when ripe and in season. San Gimignano and Volterra are about 30 minutes away. This is our second year here, and we're always enchanted by this wonderful place. Highly recommended.

The owner was very kind and helpful, and the house was welcoming, clean, and had everything we needed, including a barbecue. The shared areas were cared for, and the pool was large and always spotless. It's a lovely property tucked into the green Tuscan hills, with Florence, Siena, and Pisa within reach, and San Gimignano and Volterra very close by. Highly recommended!
