Villa Le Ripe

We spent almost a week here, with plenty of time to explore Tuscany. Certaldo, San Gimignano, Florence, and Pisa are all an easy one-hour drive away. We also went to Sienna, Modena, and the beautiful beach town Manarola. The setting made it easy to get around to highlights from 8 minutes to two hours away. The apartments are nicely decorated, parking is secure, and the property is in excellent condition. Angela and the friendly staff handle daily upkeep so everything keeps working and looking beautiful. The garden and view toward San Gimignano in the distance are a treat. Local restaurants are within walking distance, while the property is tucked away enough to stay peaceful and quiet at night. You’re right in the middle of a typical Tuscan hillside, among olive trees, fruit trees, flowers, and pristine landscaping, with sunshine all day. There’s a clean pool and pleasant spots to relax, plus outdoor tables for a meal or a card game. There’s enough room to share the property safely while following COVID related health guidelines. You can wash clothes here and air dry them under the Tuscan sun in record time. For groups of friends or bigger families, renting multiple apartments makes it possible to stay together. Host Serena also has optional extras and suggestions for anyone interested in a cooking class, wine tasting, or a special night in Florence.

Angela gave us a great welcome and showed us around the villa, explaining what we could enjoy there and in the area. The property is practically new and kept immaculately clean and tidy. It’s divided into four apartments around a shared pool. We had the whole place to ourselves and hope to come back.

Angela’s welcome was impeccable, and Fiamma was so helpful and kind. I was incredibly lucky to celebrate my birthday here, it felt like a dream. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and I couldn’t find a single flaw. It’s secluded and quiet, with privacy guaranteed and beautiful views, yet easy to reach and close to the center. A lovely Tuscan spot close to a village with all the basic amenities. The cottage has everything you need, though we found the bathroom a little outdated. The house is well maintained, with a beautiful pool and comfortable seating. We’d definitely recommend staying here!
