Villa Capri

The lakefront location exceeded our expectations, and the views were spectacular. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of tasty choices. We stayed four nights at Hotel Villa Capri, where the clean rooms and attentive, professional staff made us feel comfortable throughout. Everyone was always smiling. Thanks for a memorable visit.

There are plenty of free parking spaces, and Gardone is about a 10-minute walk away. You can stay on the pavement beside the road, which is useful since traffic can be heavy. The garden has lots of sunbeds, so it’s easy to find a quiet corner for a book, and there’s a stairway by the boat house for swimming in the lake. Breakfast was great, the rooms were clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

The garden is lovely, and the balcony view is mesmerizing. We had a quiet, chic stay and really enjoyed ourselves, so we’ll definitely come back. The staff were nice and the hotel is well located, though Villa Capri isn’t right in town, so expect a bit of a walk or a drive. Bikes are available too.

We spent a relaxing week here in August 2019. The hotel was very clean, with spacious rooms, lovely staff, good food by the water, and a great pool area. We hired a small car at Verona Airport, but it stayed in the hotel car park all week since we could walk where we wanted or take boats to other places on the lake. The hotel can arrange airport taxis, which cost about the same as a week’s car hire. At the time, a taxi was around 130 euros each way.
