Vatican Green Garden

Were you not entertained? lol

An amazing place for the saints.

The service was the worst part of my stay during Easter week. I spent nine nights coming and going without ever seeing anyone responsible for the accommodation, not even at check-in or check-out. I’m not sure this is really a hotel. It seems like someone bought one apartment in a building and turned it into seven rooms to rent. Also, a warning about the bathroom floor in room N° 1: I slipped there and fractured two ribs. That really happened. And there is no breakfast.

That holiday was ruined, and the value for money was practically nonexistent. The house isn’t close to the Vatican despite the name, you have to take a bus, so getting there isn’t easy. Our room was really ugly, with a tiny bathroom where you could barely turn around. We found silverfish and dirty towels. Even after the towels were replaced, they weren’t presented nicely. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent, so we had a sleepless night. A family staying in the building ignored us when we pointed out it was 6:00 AM, and even showered with the door open. Breakfast was another problem. They said there were two different types of tickets, then charged us a €7 supplement for three juices, three croissants, a coffee, and a slice of tart, without giving a receipt. When I complained, they told me to speak to the manager, who of course didn’t respond to my complaints. I’m giving one star because it’s the highest I can give. It was an unforgettable experience.
