Villa le Fontanelle

Davide and his local team took care of everything, so our stay was completely worry-free. We also rented the van that comes with the villa, and it included a personal pickup from the airport. Villa Le Fontanelle itself is fantastic and has all the modern conveniences. The Ionian coast may be less touristy than the famous Costa degli Dei on the other side, but the sea views are magnificent and the experience feels authentic. We had an incredible vacation at this little paradise on Calabria's Ionian coast. Don't hesitate, it's a trip you'll remember.

Waking up high above the landscape and the endless blue sea was such a treat. The house is quiet, surrounded by beautiful lush nature, and very well equipped with all the comforts you need, even for a long winter stay. The owner and Mr. Rino were absolutely friendly and obliging, and helped us with everything we needed. Best villa in the region!

The olive harvest experience Davide arranges with the neighbour and accomplished chef Nicola is especially worth doing if you're visiting at harvest time. We joined in, had an incredible picnic lunch, and took home olive oil made from the olives we'd collected. We'll definitely come back. The villa is luxurious and fully private, with a stunning view of the sea and hills from every room. The pool deck, with day beds and a heated infinity pool, was a hit with the kids and adults alike. We also loved cooking and spending time in the fully equipped second kitchen and open air dining room. Davide was a perfect host. He had anticipated most of what we needed and went out of his way to make our wishes happen.

Davide's villa had the breathtaking view and sunset I'd been dreaming of since I first saw it in 2019, when I was planning my wedding. When COVID affected our plans, Davide kindly helped us change the date. We finally got to stay there, and it was everything I hoped for and more. It's a perfect getaway for family and friends, with everything you need. The infinity pool was the best part, and I recommend booking a massage with the lovely masseuse too. Davide also spent months helping my bridal team book restaurant reservations and arrange everything for my bachelorette and bridal shower. His driver Reno was available to pick up and drop off guests when they arrived and throughout our week there. Catherina, who also looks after the place, was always available when we needed something. Thanks as well for asking your friend to hold my bridal cake so it wouldn't get damaged on the car journey. Don't hesitate if you're thinking of booking. I highly recommend it. Thanks, Davide.
