Cavallo Hotel Verona Est

Ferial was cheerful, friendly, and helpful throughout, though the other staff weren’t quite as helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but basic, and the horse-themed decor was really weird. It’s a fair way from Verona city center, which worked for us since we were driving to the lake. Getting to the motorway was easy, and it was handy to have secure parking and a petrol station right outside.

Modern rooms, complimentary parking, and staff who were very friendly made for a great stay at Cavallo Hotel Verona Est. It’s also well placed for a quick drive into Verona’s center.

For a hotel rated four stars, this didn’t feel up to standard. The small rooms have very poor sound insulation, so you can hear neighbors snoring or staff vacuuming in the room next door. Some of the staff also weren’t especially friendly.

We were there for three nights. The hotel and rooms looked pretty good, and the staff were kind and very helpful. The bar was clean and had a wide range of drinks. Thanks to the bartenders for bringing us free cookies with our tea. One small thing: there weren’t any water bottles, tea bags, or instant coffee in the rooms, things that are usually provided free. We had to keep buying water at the bar. It’d be nice if they at least put water in the rooms.
