The apartment itself was lovely, clean, well equipped, carefully maintained, and beautifully decorated. The host was warm and welcoming, and happy to offer information or help. My main problem was the shower: although the bathroom wasn't small, the shower space was tiny. I'm 1.60 cm tall, and moving my arms to wash my hair meant banging my elbows against the glass each time. It must be even more uncomfortable for anyone taller. It really needs redoing, which is a shame given how nice the rest of the apartment is. Outside noise was well insulated, but sounds from inside the building and other apartments carried clearly.

We'd be very happy to return next time. The apartment was fantastic, clean, peaceful, and had a well equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, just a five-minute walk from the old town, with free parking on nearby streets. The hostess was especially kind and lovely.

The neighborhood is terrific, with a fruit and vegetable seller, a butcher, and a caffe all within 100 feet of the front door. L'Ospite is also close to the university. The rooms are quiet and very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchenettes have excellent appliances. It's on Via Venti Settembre, just a few minutes on foot from Piazza Erbe, so the location is great. The owner, Federica DeRossi, is knowledgeable and helpful, and keeps upgrading the property. We've been coming back for eight years, and it keeps getting better. It's our top choice in Verona.

There's a grocery shop downstairs, plus places for coffee and pizza nearby. Inside, you'll find everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and an iron. The lady who runs the place is extremely nice and speaks perfect English 😋. It's a very clean, pleasant place, just a five-minute walk from the old town. The nearby bus stop gets you to the main train station in 10 minutes and the airport in 20.
