Locanda La Raia makes a peaceful break from the city, tucked among vineyards and rolling hills. The fine dining restaurant on site was exceptional, with beautifully made dishes and wine pairings that worked perfectly. Staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. We also joined the on-site wine tour, which made the estate's wines and biodynamic approach even more interesting. Every detail seemed thoughtfully handled, and the whole place felt relaxing and quietly luxurious. A wonderful wine country escape.

It's a little over an hour from Milan and 35 minutes from Genova, yet the busy world feels far away. This hotel is a real find: very comfortable, with a great spa, a nice pool, and staff who are both professional and incredibly friendly. The restaurant is another gem.

The food and wine made a big impression on us. The biodynamic Gavi wines showed the estate's commitment to quality and sustainability, and each glass reflected the region. They went beautifully with fresh, flavourful, thoughtfully prepared dishes. Locanda La Raia is an unforgettable place in the heart of Piedmont. The renovated 18th-century estate is elegant and peaceful, with its historic character still intact. From arrival on, service was top-class and every detail seemed carefully considered. The setting and hospitality made our stay feel flawless. For an authentic, luxurious Piedmont escape, it's hard to beat. We can't wait to return!

We had a lovely two-day break here, with a warm welcome and great hospitality the whole time. The food was fresh and delicious. We also tried an authentic Thai massage at the cave spa, which was wonderfully relaxing.

Our family of four stayed in the two-bedroom apartment, which was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was a delicious spread of local Italian treats, and we loved dinner at the restaurant. The kids were big fans of the pool, while we enjoyed the sauna and steam room. Such a great find!
