My second visit on 17 Aug 2015 left me a little disappointed. The Spa staff were exceptional, but the hotel staff serving lunch weren't at the same level, and the lunch itself cost €81.00 for a plate of cold cuts for three people. My international guests were a bit let down too. That was different from my first visit, a relaxing girls' day out with a dear friend. The countryside Spa was much closer to home than I'd realized, and we spent a lovely morning unwinding with soft music after a long work week. The staff were courteous and helpful, so I was happy to recommend it then.

The food was good and genuine, though the waiters didn't meet the standard I'd expect from this hotel. The location is delightful and convenient for getting to Grotte di Frasassi, and the concierge was kind. The rooms were a little smaller than we're used to.

We had dinner at the restaurant, and the food was fantastic. Breakfast offered lots of choices, all good quality, and the service was great. The hotel looks good and feels comfortable. The spa isn't huge, but it was relaxing.
