I didn't stay at the hotel myself, but their staff were incredibly friendly and stepped in when the hotel I was staying at wouldn't answer the phone. Hopefully I'll be back in Genoa soon, and next time I'll stay at the Della Posta Nuova.

Travel delays left me booking at the last minute, and I was glad this place had a room. I felt really comfortable there.

We chose this hotel after checking out a couple of others at the last minute. The attendant was warm and helpful, the price was reasonable, and the rooms were really nice.

Being right by the train station is handy if you're only in town for a couple of days, and the location is good. Breakfast was just okay, the bathrooms were clean, and the rooms were average. But the hotel feels old, and the bed wasn't comfortable. For the same price, you can find better hotels or B&Bs in a better area. We ended up here because we booked late. The staff weren't helpful, and seemed grumpy when we needed assistance with check-in or ordinary things during our stay.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean and had a nice character, and I liked being able to open the windows all the way. The people were friendly too, even letting you back in if you return late at night. A very nice, affordable place in central Genoa.
