I had booked through Booking.com, but the receptionist was very unfriendly and couldn’t find my reservation in their system. He said there was nothing he could do and that I’d have to book another room at the desk. He wouldn’t look at my confirmation or help search, and seemed annoyed that I was trying to find the booking. My reservation was non-refundable, and even the friendly Booking.com support couldn’t get the receptionist interested in helping. I lost my money and booked another hotel. I’d leave zero stars if I could. Don’t go there! I can’t reply directly to the response, but what it says isn’t true. My friend stayed outside the hotel the whole time. He was going to Milan that night and didn’t even plan to sleep there. I booked through Booking.com, not Agoda, though Agoda is a partner. The only “help” was ten minutes of being told nothing could be done. The rest of the time I was outside the hotel, in a neighbourhood where neighbours already seem disturbed by drug dealers, I guess. Have a nice stay.

We left our two backpacks there for the day, at €3 per bag. It was quick, easy, and felt safe, plus cheaper than the other options. I think they’re open until 9 pm, if I remember right.

For the price, the room was good, and breakfast was much nicer than I expected since it was included. They bring it to the room. The staff were really friendly and understanding, too. Arriving late was fine after I let them know ahead of time. The neighbourhood feels a bit sketchy, but being so close to the main train station is handy.

Great value. It’s 100 m from the central station and 500 m from Porto antico. Everything is small, but good and new. Breakfast in bed, check-in until 11 pm, and the employees are very welcoming.
