Good location, and the host was really nice!

A quiet, spotless room with everything we needed, and Stefania prepared excellent breakfasts at home. During the Covid restrictions, she left them in a locker outside our room each morning. The homemade cakes and croissants were delicious, and there was a coffee and tea maker in the room with everything to make our own drinks. I’m lactose intolerant, so Stefania also put soy milk and soy yogurt in the breakfast cupboard for me, alongside the regular options. She was so kind and understanding when I accidentally ruined a pillowcase because of a head injury, and let me pay the absolute minimum for the damage. We stayed as a couple for three nights in September 2021 and paid about €220. The B&B is a huge apartment near the top of Via Caffaro, in the center of Genoa, about a 15-20 minute walk from everything. Stefania, the exceptionally friendly private host, rents out separate rooms on a B&B basis and lives in the rest of the house with her husband and children. During our stay, Covid restrictions meant there was only one double bedroom available. The only downside was parking. As throughout Genoa, there’s no general parking, only private spaces, and guests of Lercari can pay to use them. This was an excellent experience in every other way. We’d recommend it 100%, especially to anyone planning to explore the city center on foot, for tourism or business.
