Astor Hotel

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. They charged me for items I never used or signed for, apparently putting someone else's bar bill on my room without evidence or my authorization. There was no signature, approval, or verification, just an unjustified charge added to my bill. That felt highly irresponsible and left me with serious concerns about the property's management and integrity.

The service, food, and that violinist were all wonderful! We loved every moment. The room was gorgeous and the atmosphere incredible. They even welcomed us with lotus flower drinks, which were amazing. Oh my goodness, I can't recommend it enough!

The staff really made the Capitolo Riviera Hotel stand out. Everyone was warm and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Simone deserves a special mention: he arranged a boat charter that became the highlight of our trip. We swam in the clear waters of Portofino and saw the sunken statue of Jesus of the Abyss, an unforgettable experience. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with modern architecture and beautiful landscaping. They even made sure our electric car was fully charged and ready. It's also conveniently close to the train station, making it easy to explore the Riviera. In an area where it can be hard to find a high-quality hotel with this level of service, Capitolo Riviera is a real standout. We're already looking forward to another visit and highly recommend it.

Just a five-minute walk from the gorgeous Genova coast and boardwalk, and the bed was probably the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I don't know where they get the mattresses, pillows, and blankets, but the world needs more of them. This is a small, modern, luxurious hotel, and a true five-star place that lives up to its name.
