The equipped kitchen was useful, but the stay at La Casa di Marta had several problems. The apartment has been renovated and no longer looks like the photos, and it didn’t seem properly cleaned or maintained. The soap containers were all empty, despite soap being listed in the Booking.com confirmation, and the promised coffee and tea weren’t there either. Communication was frustrating. The owner was unfriendly, sent details at the last minute, and needed repeated follow-ups. That’s especially hard when you don’t have 4G in the country. She even messaged at 10 PM about the lights when we were already inside the apartment. There’s also an extra €3 per person per night, which isn’t clearly shown on the booking page.
