The rooms are large and the location is good, but the bathrooms were so dirty, especially the showers. They looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Honestly, it was disgusting, and I can't recommend the place because of the lack of cleanliness. I hope this reaches the people in charge and they start cleaning regularly.

There's a pizzeria and a few other restaurants nearby, handy for a quick meal. The spot is convenient and fairly quiet, about a 15-minute walk from the city center. Our window wouldn't shut all the way, so the room got a little cold at times, and there was some mold in the shower that could be addressed. Still, we had a pleasant stay.

The old building has been kept up well, and I especially liked the decor and staircase. The kitchen had everything I needed, and self check-in was quick and easy. It has a charming atmosphere, and I’d recommend it. We did hear street sounds through the windows and noise from neighboring rooms, which wasn't surprising in an older building and didn't take away from our enjoyment. The room also felt a bit chilly even though it wasn't especially cold outside, and we couldn't turn on the heating. These were minor issues for us, but might matter more to other travelers.

The room was nice, and the woman handling cleaning and check-out was very sweet and helpful. I found the property without much trouble, though I can see how others might struggle. Once inside, though, it felt very hands-off: you check yourself in and handle a lot on your own. The rooms don't offer much privacy, since you can sometimes hear other guests. For the price, I expected a few more amenities. The bathroom described as private wasn't attached to its room, and other travelers could get into it whether they were meant to or not. It felt more like a hostel at a hotel price. I've stayed elsewhere in Italy for less and got more, just being honest. There’s no AC, which I can understand in an old building, but even a fan would have helped. I was there in late September, and while it worked for me then, I can't picture staying in summer or warmer months. I wouldn't necessarily tell someone to avoid it, but the distance from transit and these issues may mean better value is available elsewhere.
