Torre Ducale Dimora Storica

The view across Genoa’s rooftops, piazza, churches, and bell towers was a dream. Eliana was so kind and helpful, and you can tell how much she cares about the property. Torre Ducale sits right in the centre, near metro and bus stops. The room has the character of an old tower but still works well, with a kitchen area stocked with utensils, and it was spotless.

The room on the third floor was chosen on the owner's advice, since it had more windows looking out over much of the city center. We were there as a couple from June 8, 2025, to June 10, 2025, and paid €170 per night. For that price, the condition was a real disappointment: it was very dirty and dusty, with ants, mosquitoes, and spiders around. One spider bit me and the aftermath was unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Mrs. Eliana made our night in her suite feel special. She was very kind and helpful, and the room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. It felt magical and unique, with a traditional, welcoming style that made it easy to relax and enjoy Genoa.

From the rooms you get views on three sides, with Genoa spread out below, and they’re gorgeous and well equipped. The location is central and convenient. Mrs. Eliana was very kind and helpful. Piccapietra is the parking spot I’d recommend. Just be aware that the tower’s stairs make this unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Highly recommended 👍
