Villa D'Albertis

We brought our bikes and rode along the sea. There are beaches nearby, charming little Italian towns, and the great city of Genova. You can watch large ships come and go in its harbour. The place is private and cosy, with a huge garden, and would be perfect for a long holiday. The owner was nice and helpful, made us a lovely breakfast, and the place had good equipment, including a range of kitchen items and a washing machine.

Federica welcomed us warmly with a lovely aperitif made with local products. The apartment is spacious, with a wonderful sea view and nature all around. There's a quaint little beach about a ten-minute walk away.

The sea is practically right outside the window, and there's Wi-Fi. This very expensive villa has five beds, two full-size and one twin, and the full-size ones can be separated into twins. Outside, there's a private yard, donkeys and even a small mountain. Inside, there are many rooms, crystal chandeliers, marble floors and antique furniture. The view is beautiful and it stays cool. The bathroom has a bidet. The living room has a plasma TV, and the kitchen has a fridge, stove, table, sink and windows. There's also a separate room for the washing machine.

We had the place entirely to ourselves, which made for a wonderfully secluded stay. Captain Albertis built this luxurious historic villa, hosted by the welcoming Antonella. Its vast park has three-hundred-year-old redwoods, pine trees, fountains, grottoes and fish ponds. Highly recommended if you're looking for a luxurious, private getaway.
