Maison Villa Arci Resort

The garden was a highlight for us, with so many colorful flowers and fruit trees. Pippo and his wife were kind and helpful, and the treat Pippo gave us was delicious. Best wishes from Cisca and Louis 🥐🥰

We liked having a shaded spot outside for mornings and evenings, and there were cats to see and ducks to chat to. The cottages are handy for the public beach and main road, with a large grocery store nearby. Ours had two beds, one in a separate room and a single bed outside the bathroom, plus a wardrobe for clothes. The rooms have air conditioning, and the kitchen has a gas cooker and the usual pots, plates and cups, so cooking helped keep food costs down. Service was friendly and helpful. Just take care on the narrow single lane road, which also serves a few houses.

We could see lava coming from Etna's crater through our apartment window, and the view was stunning. The rooms were clean and spacious, and everything was so peaceful. Pipo was very friendly, as was his wife, who gave our son a lovely present. Taormina and Castelmola are close, and the beach is within a kilometer. This was our favorite stay of the Sicily trip, and we'd highly recommend it to couples or families.

I didn't feel like I was on holiday here. The apartment felt dirty and thrown together, with old furniture and a kitchen that seemed improvised. It also wasn't the apartment I had booked: the photos showed a nice kitchen with a sitting area. I don't think the place had been cleaned before I arrived, which felt especially unacceptable during Covid. After I cancelled two of the three nights, the host stopped being responsive and kind. His comments became personal, which felt hurtful and unprofessional.
