The pool was one of the highlights, with Etna on one side and the sea or Taormina on the other. The view is beautiful, and the setting feels private. The hosts are incredibly friendly and easy to reach. A single WhatsApp message was enough to get a drink by the pool, advice on a nearby restaurant or a beach suggestion for the afternoon. They’re around when you need help, but don’t hover over you. The rooms are modern and everything worked. We didn’t lack a thing, and I’m sure the hosts would have sorted it quickly if we had. Service like this is unlike anywhere I’ve stayed before. And unlike some places, nobody pressured us to leave a positive rating. The praise here is real and deserved. You’ll need a car, but that’s true for visiting Sicily anyway. The accommodation is a great base for exploring the island. We feel lucky to have found it, recommend it highly and hope we can return. It was a true gem and a big part of our amazing trip to Sicily. Thank you!

The view from Virdamuri is unforgettable: sea and Mount Etna together, while you relax at the volcano’s foot. We spent five fantastic days at the beautiful Etna Country Resort with our children, and the whole stay exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotless, and the garden, pool and atmosphere were amazing. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed and felt at home. Thank you for the lovely stay, the delicious food and the cold proseccos! We’re so glad we met Lella and her team. We’ll never forget this once in a lifetime experience.

A lovely place to spend time surrounded by nature and birdsong. The pool and jacuzzi area, with a view of Mount Etna, was a hit with the children, and we enjoyed being outdoors here between trips around the area. Lella greeted us with a smile and a welcome drink. The accommodation was comfortable and pleasant, especially the great bedding. Breakfast was included in the price and very good each morning, and Lella was attentive as always. A big thank you. The view is stunning, from Mount Etna among the citrus trees to the sea visible from the pool and Jacuzzi. The breakfast is outstanding too, and the whole place feels peaceful, with wonderful hospitality. The accommodation itself is fabulous, renovated with real care and attention to detail. Lella is the heart and soul of the place. She looks after everyone and everything, left us a lovely welcome card and fresh fruit, and greeted us with a welcome drink. She was helpful and kind throughout our stay.
