Getting around was easy from here. The villa sits outside Verona, away from the busy parts, and shops and restaurants in Grazzana are only a five-minute drive down the hill. We felt at home, with spacious rooms, good Wi-Fi throughout, and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed to cook for the family. We ate outside at the big table and could move between several garden seating areas to stay in the shade. Only the top-floor bedroom has air conditioning, but the villa ventilates well and the other rooms stayed cool enough for sleeping. We had a brilliant stay through AirBnB.

The part that really made the place feel special was how much it felt like home. The location, the facilities, and the owner were all great too. We'll definitely be back.

The bedrooms are fairly large, and the house has plenty of space, but the rooms face the street. We were on the second floor and had to keep the windows shut to sleep. The bidet taps on both the first and second floors had no water. Then the power went out and we couldn't open the entrance gate, so we had to sort things out ourselves. We left feeling that booking this property had been a poor choice, and although we booked directly through the website, we wouldn't do that again. The kitchen and dishes were dirty, as was the floor. The Nespresso machine had moldy capsules left in the holder, some broken, and the cleaning seemed very superficial. There were mosquitoes everywhere and no screens on the windows. We couldn't sit outside at all during the holiday, and got bitten badly even walking from the parking area to the house. It's a quiet, green setting, but a car is essential. I also wouldn't recommend it for small children or anyone with physical disabilities.

Federica and Stefano are always ready to help and make you feel at home. The view over the city is beautiful, with greenery all around. Up in the hills of Grezzana, just a few dozen kilometers from central Verona, it's a lovely spot if you're looking to get away from city chaos.
