The staff were super duper nice, especially Russell at the front desk. He was pleasant and really helpful. Breakfast was great and arrived on time each morning. The room and bathroom were clean, though the room could use a fresh coat of paint and the draperies needed cleaning to get rid of the cigarette smell. My husband and I stayed for five days last week, and I'd absolutely stay here again.

The owner was on site and very helpful, like a human Google. He knew the area really well. The service was excellent, breakfast was good, and the rooms were spacious, clean, secure, and updated. I'd stay here again.

The location is picturesque and convenient, in a quiet, cozy area near the subway. All the main attractions are within a 30-minute walk, and there are lots of inexpensive restaurants and cafes nearby with delicious food. The room had what I needed and more: shower, bath, toilet and bidet, with hot water; air conditioning, which matters in summer; a large comfortable bed; all the necessary furniture; a safe for documents and most of your cash; a personal computer; and a TV. The owner speaks English and is nice and hospitable. The room was cleaned every day. That's why I gave Augustus the maximum score.

The owner was friendly and gave us good tips for places to visit in Rome. Breakfast was good, and our room was clean, though a bit old. My wife and I stayed four nights.
