We really enjoyed our stay with this friendly family business. The view of Mount Etna from the rooftop viewpoint was excellent, and the pool was a great feature. The location also worked really well for visiting Mount Etna and Taormina. Thanks for the good memories.

The town around it is a little run down, though Giarre is well placed for exploring northeastern Sicily, including Etna. The B&B itself is a peaceful green haven amid all the noise and bustle. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and even helped us hire a car cheaply when we arrived. Our room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good, and the fresh orange juice from the garden was amazing. We were there in February, so couldn't make much use of the pool, but it must be lovely in the warmer months.

There was plenty of room to park, and the swimming pool was great. Breakfast was delicious too, with focaccia, tomatoes dressed with olive oil, toast, and croissants.

We kept looking forward to getting back to the pool. It refreshed us and helped us recover from the relentless heat. This was an ideal base for a family visiting places around Etna. The room was a good size, breakfast was pleasant, and the air conditioning was enough for comfortable sleep. We also appreciated being able to park inside the enclosed garden, and the owner and his whole family were very nice.

The place is clean and the hospitality is great. Mr. Gaetano and the staff were very helpful and guided us throughout our stay. I'd recommend B&B Alhambra. You won't regret it!
