The guesthouse lady was really helpful and knew the city well. Giaveno is only about a two-minute drive away. I stayed for two days, and the best part was running or walking the trails up to Sacra di San Michele. It’s a tough route, but a determined runner can do it. Walking takes around 10 km and a little over two hours, while running there and back takes about two hours.

The garden and outdoor patio make this villa a lovely base for enjoying nature while still exploring the Turin area, local food, and Giaveno’s restaurants and excursions. Manuela is welcoming, courteous, and always ready to help. The place is spotless, and breakfast was wonderful, with homemade bread, ciambellone, and lots of other treats. It has a calm, home-like feel. You can sit and chat in the living room or have herbal tea while watching TV. A very pleasant choice for a quiet weekend, whether you’re traveling for work or for pleasure.
