I don’t often leave reviews, only when something really stands out. The room was immaculate and spacious, and cheaper than others in the area. But the food was the real surprise. I’ve travelled a lot and eaten at plenty of restaurants. I’m no expert, though I like to think I know quality. I was laughing in disbelief at the level of the cooking, truly Michelin level, with local produce, precise technique, and masterful recipes. The partridge came three ways, smoked in local herbs. The cheese selection included Fontina aged two years and Parmegiano aged five.

We’d planned to stay 3 nights and eat at the beautiful restaurant, but personal reasons meant cutting our trip short. The staff were super friendly and worked with our special requests. They almost made us feel like family. We’ll be back for the lovely staff and to try the restaurant. To the lady at the front desk, thanks for taking care of us!

A real treat for the palate. A friend recommended this place, and we’re glad we listened. The food was delicious, and the chefs’ creativity impressed us. The pomegranate sorbet deserves to become an official dessert! We also loved the special sparkling tea served in champagne bottles. It’s such a cutting-edge touch in a place with a traditional look. The service was pleasant and professional, and it was lovely that chef Piergiorgio Pellerei came to our table at the end of the evening. We’d recommend it for special occasions or a casual meal.

I especially liked having a reading area where I could sit for a while. The staff were completely professional and kind. Our room was very affordable, clean, and had all the necessary amenities, with plenty of space for our wet gear after a motorcycle tour. The restaurant was incredible, although prices were on the high side because most things were such good quality.
