Maria was quick to respond and very helpful throughout. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and I slept really well. It’s only a short walk from the main street and the excellent La Cavallerizza cafe, which I’d happily recommend. There’s a capsule coffee machine too.

Maria made us feel especially welcome, with thoughtful touches big and small, and the price-quality ratio was exceptional. La Ginestra has been recently renovated and is furnished with care; the apartments have all the comforts, including air conditioning that works properly. Each one suits up to two couples, with a double bed and a comfortable sofa bed. The bathroom has no window, and the narrow street makes loading and unloading luggage a little awkward. Highly recommended.

The host was so friendly and flexible about everything we needed, and the apartment was extremely clean. It’s a studio in Ginosa’s historic center, near the ravine, furnished in an appealing Apulian style. The barrel-vaulted ceilings over the mezzanine bedroom are especially charming. Very good value for money.

We were four pilgrims walking the Camino Matera, and the location worked really well for us. Mrs. Maria was incredibly kind and helpful, shared useful tips, and greeted us with a delicious tetta della Monaca dessert. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and well cared for. Highly recommended.
