The food and wine were among the best we had on our trip. We were served course after course in a romantic spot in the winery grounds, and the portions could easily have fed four, though there were only two of us. The Italian food was delicious, authentic, and plentiful, alongside their award winning wine. Filippo and Rina, who run the winery, were incredibly generous and welcoming. The relaxed tour was informative, and their wine was the best Primitivo we tried during our short time in Italy. Later, when we struggled with the irregular, unreliable trains, they helped print our tickets, drove us to the bus stop, and even offered us their B and B when the bus didn't show up. We were bowled over by their kindness. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful evening here.

The old palace and its beautiful garden are part of Gioia's history. It now works as a winery and B&B, recently brought back to life and run by the latest generation, who focus on quality and keeping production low. The business is still growing and improving, and seems to be learning as it goes. It's a lovely place to spend a few hours talking about wine, or stay a few nights while exploring the rich wine selection of Gioia del Colle.

Dina and Filippo were wonderful hosts in their family home, and the food and wine were superb. We came with our two young children, ages 3 & 4, and had an amazing time. If you're nearby, I'd highly recommend a long lunch here, just arrive hungry.

Terra Jovia may be a small winery, but there's something magical about it. We were so glad we made it there. The tasting included excellent, authentic food, and the wine itself was really good. Everything exceeded expectations. Thanks again to the hosts, we'd definitely return!
